Bio:

Dr. Nigel Reuel is President and Founder of Skroot Laboratory Inc. (Ames, IA) which specializes in wireless sensors for single use bioreactors and small culture vessels. He is also Associate Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Iowa State University, where he holds the Stanley Chair in Interdisciplinary Engineering and directs the College of Engineering Deep Technology Venture Creation program. His research and innovations have been recognized by the NSF CAREER Award, NIH MIRA ESI award, 3M Untenured Faculty Award, and ACS BIOT Young Investigator award. He obtained his PhD at MIT in Chemical and Biological Engineering.
